Grasslands

Grasslands cover a large population of the earth's surface and are important as a feed source for livestock, as a habitat for wildlife, for environmental protection and for the conservation of plant genetic resources. This publication provides an insight into grassland productivity in diverse areas of the world with their various production systems, and considers key development and issues, with a focus on recent technical advances and the prospects for further innovation.
