Bongi the beetle is a beautifully illustrated story book with a very important life lesson: Bongi shows young readers the importance of tidying up and the consequences of being untidy.

Bongi likes to collect things she finds in the beautiful garden where she lives. She brings home shiny pieces of glass, flowers, and interesting sticks and stones. She plays with them in her beetle house but never packs anything away – she doesn't see the point in tidying up as she wants to play with her things again anyway. One day her sister, Bibi, bumps into Bongi's pile of stones and hurts herself. Bongi decides to clear her mess by making one big pile. One day, in a rush out the door, Bongi runs into her pile of things and hurts her leg very badly. She finally understands the importance of tidying up and becomes a very tidy beetle.

This book is part of the exciting Bug stories series, a set of little stories with big lessons. By relating to the fun characters in this series, children can learn valuable life skills.
