Fatima the fly

Fatima the fly is a beautifully illustrated story book with a very important life lesson: Fatima shows young readers that you do not have to be the best at everything you do, you only have to try your best.

Fatima happily takes part in all the local insect activities, including running races, flying races, dancing classes, singing in the insect choir and playing volleyball. She always does her best, whether she wins or not. One day she plays hide-and-seek with the other insects. A mosquito tells Fatima that she is no good at the game – she is far too easy to find. Fatima explains to the mosquito that she tries her best and plays to have fun. The mosquito then understands and agrees that doing your best is the best you can do.
