Invisi-bull

Invisi-bull is a beautifully illustrated story book with a very important life lesson: It is about a young bull who wants to have a special power. It shows that a good and kind heart is the only real power you need. In this book 'invisible' and 'bull' have been put together to make a fun word 'invisi-bull' – a bull that is invisible. The story is set on a farm.

Max is a young bull who wants something different from the other bulls – he wants to be invisible. He thinks that if he is invisible he will be able to do whatever he wants. In fact, it becomes all he thinks about and wishes for.

One day he is so busy thinking about being invisible that he walks into a puddle of sticky green stuff on the farm. He gets it all over himself and makes his usual wish to be invisible. And he starts disappearing right there. Now he thinks he is very special. He plays tricks on the other bulls by moving things around or making noises to give them frights.

At first all the bulls are afraid, but after a while they know it is just Max up to his tricks. The problem is that invisible Max never does anything nice or kind. He only thinks of himself. So the other bulls start ignoring him. Max tries hard to get their attention, but to no avail. He starts getting very lonely and very sad. He realizes that he has been behaving badly and is tired of being invisible. He feels sorry and begins to cry. Then a strange feeling comes over him. He looks down and sees his feet and legs – he is no longer invisible!

Max becomes a very kind and nice little bull. He likes himself just the way he is and understands that he now has the only special power he will ever need: a good and kind heart.   

Invisi-bull is part of the exciting Farm-tastic series. This is a set of 10 story books for children, with farm animal characters. Word play is used to bring an additional element of fun to the books. Each story highlights a valuable lesson, such as the importance of hope, that we all have a purpose, and the power of an imagination.
