Dabi the dolphin

Dabi the dolphin is a beautifully illustrated story book with a very important life lesson: Dabi shows young readers the importance of keeping safe and paying attention to your surroundings. The story and illustrations also teach readers about dolphins and other marine life.

Dabi is a young dolphin who stays close to her mother in the deep blue sea. Her mother teaches her everything she needs to know to be a good dolphin, but Dabi becomes impatient and wants to swim off by herself to see new places. Her mother tells her that she is not ready and that safety comes first. Dabi does not like hearing this. One day the young dolphins are playing when Dabi's mother suddenly stops swimming and so does Dabi. She sees a large fishing net come down in front of them and just miss them. Dabi did not see the net coming. She then understands why she needs to pay attention to her surroundings and watch out for danger.
